The thing I remember most about taking pictures of Tom Petty was his love for the crowd. The fans love him and he loves the fans. That's always good to see an artist who really appreciates the people.

I had to leave early from the concert, and on my way out to the parking lot I heard Tom Petty start playing "Last Dance with Mary Jane". You can bet the concert venue was going nuts.

I was more than a quarter of a mile away from the venue and I could hear the crowd singing:
