Metallica, Columbus, July 19, 2003
Metallica pictures featuring lead singer James Hetfield in concert at the 2003 Sanitarium Tour in Columbus Ohio in the OSU football stadium.
This was a very memorable concert as I got to meet the band members backstage two times prior to them taking the stage. The first was for a brief interview, and the second was a meet and greet with the band with other contest winners. This was one of the few bands I have ever gotten an autograph from, as I normally don't care for autographs or want to bother a musician with the request. However, I had a big "Metallica" photo pass, and I had the guys sign it. I'll have to take a picture of that and post that on this site later.
Not all the pictures of James Hetfield are that good - I was shooting film on one of my older cameras, but I wanted to share these Metallica pics with the fans who may have been to this concert.
