Scooter Ward of Cold performing live in concert at X103's XFEST 2005.

Scooter Ward, lead singer for the band Cold delivered an emotional live performance in the afternoon summer heat at this XFEST concert.

During the concert, Scooter Ward was a bit more reserved than I had expected on stage, yet their passion for their music really poured out on the crowd. There were many hardcore Cold fans in the crowd, moshing away in the hot sun. I was pleased with Cold's performance although I was not completely blown away. I think they would be amazing to see in a smaller, indoor concert venue.

Just as a side note, the photos of Cold are among some of my favorites. I think I just liked the tones the late afternoon sun put on the stage. The photos of the drummer, Sam McCandless are probably the best shots I've got of a drummer thus far.
