The Evans Blue album "The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume" is very good. I would compare it to a male-version of Evanescence, but with better song writing. Evans Blue songs pack a powerful and emotional punch with their music, lyrics, and vocals. If you've ever been in a relationship before that has ended, then there are multiple tracks on this album that will connect with you.

The Evans Blue album has a high level of intensity, and that was not lost during the concer performance - in fact it was even stronger. I was very impressed with the whole band. Matisyn was a strong singer that was emotionally involved with his songs.

The music rocked and sounded superb. After I was done taking pictures of Evans Blue, I walked back to the center of the venue about 20 rows in front of the sound board just to closely listen to the band, and enjoy the music as I am a fan. They sounded excellent - very tight with a great balance on the music and vocals. I definitely look forward to seeing Evans Blue in concert again, as well as listen to future albums they create.
